I love my boyfriend and it’s nearly impossible to write anything about him because my love for him feels too big to put into words. Spenser is thoughtful, silly, and has a huge giant brain full of strong opinions on every possible topic. He is good at everything, knows every song ever recorded, and goes out of his way to make other people feel at home. He may have the worst road rage of anyone I know, but in Spenser’s words, it’s just “car talk,” and he goes immediately back to his angelic self once the other car is out of sight. Because he is the love of my life and requested only “maybe a blueberry cake,” I decided to bake the most perfectly sweet-tart combination to match his sweet-tart personality. I made a lemon Swiss roll filled with white chocolate buttercream and topped with a blueberry syrup. Decor inspired by the graphic tee he very nearly purchased.
