Alix is a runner. By this I do not mean she enjoys jogging (although she does so on occasion, usually with her adorable, newly arthritic, dog, Charlie). Instead, I mean that she sprints away as fast as she can when she’s drunk, hoping someone will run after her. She runs towards her friends when she sees them approaching from far down the street. She runs into the lake off the concrete steps, with a big jump at the end into the usually-icy water. Alix also runs every room she enters and is the life of the party wherever she goes. Angel that she is, she received a birthday angel food cake, with lots of whipped cream and berries.
